By booking a rental with Set the Scene Party Rentals, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

 

1. Rental Use & Responsibility

You acknowledge that all rented items are the personal property of Set the Scene Party Rentals and agree to use them responsibly and for their intended purpose. You are fully responsible for the care, handling, and safe return of all items during the rental period.

 

2. Pickup & Return

All rentals must be picked up and returned to the designated location at the agreed-upon times. Failure to return items on time may result in additional fees.

 

3. Security Hold

A refundable security hold will be placed on your card at the time of booking. The security hold will be released within 48 hours after all items are returned in their original condition. If items are returned damaged, altered, excessively dirty, or missing, Set the Scene Party Rentals reserves the right to partially or fully retain the security hold.

 

4. Damage, Loss, or Total Replacement

You agree to pay the full replacement cost (“total loss value”) for any item that is not returned or is returned in a condition that makes it unusable for future rentals. Replacement costs are listed on the website and may be updated periodically.

 

5. Assumption of Risk

You understand that some rental items may involve physical activity, electrical components, or outdoor use. You assume all risks associated with the setup, use, and operation of rented items. Set the Scene Party Rentals is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or property damage resulting from misuse, improper setup, or failure to follow instructions.

 

6. Liability Release

By renting from Set the Scene Party Rentals, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Set the Scene Party Rentals and its owner from any claims, damages, injuries, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the rented items, including but not limited to: personal injury, property damage, equipment malfunction due to improper use, accidents occurring during transport, setup, or operation

 

7. Customer Setup & Use

Unless otherwise stated, customers are responsible for setting up and taking down all rented items. You agree to follow all provided instructions and safety guidelines.

 

8. Weather & Outdoor Use

Outdoor items must be protected from rain, wind, and extreme conditions. Damage caused by weather exposure will be treated as customer negligence and charged accordingly.

 

9. Agreement to Terms

By completing a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms in this Rental Agreement & Liability Waiver.
